These terms explain how you may use Scrubmyo and what you remain responsible for when preparing an NHS supporting statement.
Last updated: 17 June 2026
1. Who we are
Scrubmyo is the service available at scrubmyo.io. You can contact us at hello@scrubmyo.com.
2. What these terms cover
These terms apply when you access the Scrubmyo website, join the waitlist, create an account, upload documents, use profile tools, generate supporting statement drafts, or use any related service we provide.
By using Scrubmyo, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
3. What Scrubmyo is and is not
- Scrubmyo is an AI-assisted writing and structure tool for NHS supporting statements.

- The final application you submit is your responsibility. You must check it for accuracy, honesty, disclosure requirements and suitability before submitting it.
4. Accounts and security
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your password and account access secure.
- You must tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Scrubmyo.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the information, documents and examples you upload or type into Scrubmyo. You give us a limited permission to host, copy, process, transmit, analyse and transform that content only as needed to provide, secure, support and improve the service.
- Do not upload patient identifiable information.

- Do not invent qualifications, experience, employment history or clinical competence.
- Do not use Scrubmyo to create misleading, unlawful, discriminatory or harmful content.
- Do not upload malware, attempt to bypass security, scrape the service, or overload our systems.
6. AI-generated drafts
Scrubmyo may use AI to extract details from documents and draft supporting statement text. AI outputs can be incomplete, inaccurate, too generic, or unsuitable for your exact application. You must review and edit every output before using it.
- You are responsible for ensuring the final statement is truthful and based on your real experience.
- You are responsible for complying with any NHS employer policy on AI disclosure.
- You should not submit an output without checking names, dates, role details, band, trust values and criteria.
- You should keep your own copy of any final statement you submit.
7. Waitlist and product emails
If you join the waitlist, we may send confirmation emails, launch updates and product information. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. Transactional messages, such as password resets or service notices, may still be sent when needed.
8. Paid plans, credits and refunds
Scrubmyo may offer paid plans, credits or digital content. If we do, the checkout or order page will show the price, taxes where applicable, what is included, payment method, delivery timing, cancellation information and any minimum commitment before you buy.
If you are a UK consumer, you may have a 14-day cancellation right for online purchases. For digital content or services delivered immediately, we may ask you to consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you may lose the cancellation right once the digital service has been fully supplied. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
Credits, if introduced, are for your own account only unless we state otherwise. They are not cash, cannot be transferred, and may expire if clearly disclosed at purchase.
9. Intellectual property
Scrubmyo, including the website, design, code, prompts, workflows, branding and product structure, belongs to us or our licensors. You may use Scrubmyo only for your own lawful application preparation. You must not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or build a competing service from Scrubmyo except where law allows.
Subject to your compliance with these terms, you may use the statement drafts generated from your own content for your personal job applications.
10. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Scrubmyo available, secure and useful, but we do not promise uninterrupted access. We may update, suspend, withdraw or change features where needed for security, maintenance, legal compliance, supplier changes, or product improvement.
11. Account suspension and deletion
We may suspend or close an account if we reasonably believe it is being used in breach of these terms, for unlawful purposes, to harm others, or to threaten the security or availability of the service. You can request account deletion by contacting hello@scrubmyo.com.
12. Our responsibility to you
We provide Scrubmyo with reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.
Scrubmyo is a drafting support tool. We are not responsible for recruitment decisions, shortlisting outcomes, visa decisions, employer policies, deadlines you miss, information you enter incorrectly, or applications you submit without review.
13. Your responsibility to us
You are responsible for losses we suffer because you misuse Scrubmyo, breach these terms, upload content you are not allowed to use, or use the service unlawfully. This does not apply where the loss is caused by our breach of these terms or our negligence.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Scrubmyo develops. If changes materially affect your rights or obligations, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms. This version was last updated on 17 June 2026.
